Local woman rescued from Lake Ontario
A scary incident for a Hamilton woman.
The 21-year-old had to be rescued from Lake Ontario off Van Wagner's Beach yesterday morning.
Police were called to the area at around 11 o'clock about a woman in distress in the water.
She was pulled from the water and taken to hospital, where she was later released.
