A Hamilton man faces four-and-a-half years in prison for the sadistic torture of a 22-year-old mentally disabled man.Stanley Brown, 31, pleaded guilty April 6 to aggravated assault and forcible confinement involving a vulnerable young man who was prone to seizures but managed to live independently on a disability pension.This morning assistant Crown Attorney Steve O'Brien and defence lawyer Indra Bhagganpresented a joint submission recommending Brown serve 54 months over and above the 16 months he has spent in custody.Brown pleaded guilty to one count each of forcible confinement and aggravated assaulted.His co-accused, Dakota Thompson, 21, and Nathaniel Jug, 23, pleaded guilty to the same charges. They are to be sentenced this afternoon.
