Sheraton falcon chicks named and banded

Four healthy chicks, four names anchored in Hamilton medical history.

The falcon chicks at the Sheraton Hotel were named Tuesday morning - all of them after city hospitals. There are two females - Chedoke and Henderson - and two males - Peter and Joe.

For easy identification, each has a coloured band. If you see them, Chedoke is green, Henderson is red, Peter is blue and Joe yellow.

Anne Yagi, Ministry of Natural Resources management biologist for this region, pronounced all hale and healthy before returning them to the nest.
