Two bridge construction workers have been injured, one seriously, after a transport truck slammed into boom lift truck the two men were working on under a Highway 403 bridge around 4 a.m. today.Eastbound 403 past Aberdeen will remain down to one lane until around 11 a.m. Traffic has backed up to Ancaster, and a second crash that happened around 7 a.m. just west of the Linc has further complicated traffic matters.The collision occurred under a bridge over eastbound Hwy. 403 just past the Aberdeen exit. According to OPP Constable Graham Williamson, the men were working on the bridge in the left lane, which had been completely barricaded for the work.“The transport was eastbound in lane 2, (right lane), and hit the bucket,” Williamson said.
