Encouraging news for local BIAs

This is encouraging.

A new consultant's report says vacancy rates fell in all five key business districts in Hamilton.

They include Concession Street, Dundas, Ottawa Street, Waterdown and Westdale.

The consultant also says the quality of businesses located in each BIA has improved with new construction upgrades being done on many of the buildings.

The report goes to city councillors today.
