Million-dollar cocaine bust at Hamilton airport

Nearly a million dollars worth of cocaine was seized from a shipment of clothing at the Hamilton International Airport this week — the largest drug bust in the airport’s history.

The 6.5 kilograms of cocaine were discovered sewn into jeans, in a clothing shipment from Peru on April 19, said Canada Border Services Agency spokesperson Jean D’Amelio Swyer.
