The Hamilton Bulldogs record setting ways have continued in the playoffs.
The Dogs, who set more than 30 franchise records during the AHL regular season, set one new team mark and tied another Saturday afternoon.
The Dogs blasted the Manitoba Moose 8-2 at Copps Coliseum to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven AHL North Division semi-final.
The eight goals equals the most the Dogs have ever scored in a playoff game. They beat Binghamton 8-3 back in 2003. And the six-goal margin is a new franchise mark beating the five goals they beat Binghamton by.
