Halifax police have arrested one of two men wanted in the slaying of Hamilton’s Brandon Musgrave.
A police release at 3 a.m. Saturday says ‘community co-operation’ led investigators to look to the east coast for Tyrone Chambers. He was arrested just after midnight Hamilton time. The release did not say if any or all of the reward for his arrest will be paid out in this case,
Tyrone Chambers was charged with Second Degree Murder, Attempt Murder While Using a Firearm, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm x 2, Possession of a Restricted Weapon While Prohibited x 2, Breach of Probation x 2.
Hamilton detectives will fly to Halifax Saturday to retrieve Chambers.
Brandon Musgrave, 18, was fatally shot in the head at a student party on Dundurn Street South last month. Two men had complained about the music being played, according to witnesses. Then they pulled out handguns and started shooting.
