The city's board of health has thrown its support behind a letter-writing campaign urging the Ontario government to strengthen children's mental health services.
The provincewide campaign was launched in December by agencies and groups fed up with funding shortfalls for children's mental health services.

Alex Thompson, executive director of Lynwood Hall Child and Family Centre, and Cindy L'Anson, executive director of Woodview Children's Mental health and Autism Services, were among those who wrote to the city.
