Customs House to get a face-lift
Hamilton's historic Customs House will be getting a face-lift thanks to a federal government infrastructure grant.
It was built in 1860 and is one of the oldest surviving federal government buildings in Canada.
The grant of 13-thousand dollars will be used to repair the columns on the facade and replace the entrance steps.
The building is currently known as the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre.
