The Hamilton Mosque on Stone Church Road East was firebombed early today.Police said a rock was thrown through a front window of the mosque sometime after midnight and a Molotov cocktail was either thrown or placed inside the window and took fire.The Hamilton police hate crime and arson investigators have been called in as well as uniform officers and will be reviewing surveillance video from other buildings in the area.No estimate of damage was available.The blaze burned itself out without doing serious damage.It was discovered when staff arrived at 8 a.m.The blaze, located inside the office of the principal of the mosque school, did little damage but greatly concerns police, said Sergeant Terri-Lynne Collings.
