It's a heartwarming Hamilton event that brings a 500-member volunteer army together in the blink of an eye.
And when it is over, their success usually brings a tear to the eye.
But unfortunately, it's also an event that Hamiltonians are getting too much practice at -- so much so that organizers hope this is the last one.
It's the Haiti Media Telethon that will run from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and will be televised periodically on CHCH News. The event takes place at McMaster University's Downtown Centre on Main Street East, across from the John Sopinka Courthouse, and will feature both performances from local musicians and stories about the Haiti earthquake.
