Hamilton’s Haitian love affair

Twelve Hamilton residents thought to be in Haiti are waiting in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to see if they can get into the country.

Esther Pauls, co-owner of The Runners Den in Westdale  and founder of the Run for Haiti in 1999, and 11 others planning to run in the second  Marathon De La Solidarite Haitian run the group has organized left for the island Tuesday and were to fly out of Florida today. 

It is not known  if the group will be able to continue.
