A man will be put up for a commendation after he grabbed a bank robber for Hamilton police.
The man grabbed a bandit who had just held up the TD-Canada Trust on Mall Road, in between Mohawk Road East and Lime Ridge Mall, just after 4:30 p.m. Monday. Police say the man gave chase after he saw a man holding a bag spraying a dye pack and cash in a grocery store parking lot.
"Although we don't recommend citizens put themselves at risk, the actions of the civilian were brave," said Staff Sergeant Bernie Mueller.

Very dangerous....the guy should have followed the robber then notify the cops his whereabouts. What if the robber had a loaded gun and shot the vigilante.
