City man’s burned-out car found

A missing Hamilton man’s car has been found burned out and empty on a desolate country road near the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula.

Michel ‘Steve’ Gagich, 48, was last seen at his Hamilton home late Saturday night.

On Tuesday, the pilot of a small plane flying southeast of Tobermory spotted a vehicle on fire on the Emmett Lake Road, near Bruce Peninsula National Park and the Saugeen Hunting Ground Indian Reserve.

The pilot notified Bruce Peninsula OPP who found the vehicle burned out and no one around when they arrived.
