Chopper filmed our 'gritty' streets

Wondering about the helicopter that spent hours flying low over Hamilton Thursday? Turns out it was filming for a new Canadian-produced TV show.

According to the city's Film and TV Office, the chopper was shooting footage for Cra$h & Burn, a TV show to air this fall on Showcase.

Cra$h & Burn, says the show's publicity material, is set in Hamilton. The leading character is an insurance adjuster "manoeuvring his way around insurance scams and the criminal underworld as he tries to escape his past and make a better life on the gritty post-industrial streets of Hamilton."
