Affordable Housing Project Gets Started

A 6.5 million dollar afffordable housing project is underway in Stoney Creek.

The federal, provincial and municipal governments have teamed up to break groundon Thursday, on a 48 unit project called Bridgewater Court. The project received more than $3.3 million in funding through the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program.

The City of Hamilton is spending the other three million. Completion of the homes is scheduled for April 2010.
