Hamilton police are hunting a cross-dressing bank robber.The unfashionably dressed bandit struck two downtown banks last week. On Aug. 10, he walked into the Desjardins Credit Union on King Street East.Wearing a long brown wig and a blouse, he approached a teller and gave her a note saying he wasarmed with a gun. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.Three days later, he hit the Teachers Credit union on James Street South and made off with cash.The robber is described as white, 5'7"-5'8", with a medium build and is in his mid 30s.
