Hamilton is getting $7.1 million from the federal and provincial governments to build three affordable housing projects.
The projects will build 81 affordable rental units for low-income seniors in areas of the city where demand is high and create construction jobs.
The funding, announced this morning, comes from the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program Agreement. The federal and provincial governments are contributing equally to the funding.
