Good and bad news at U.S Steel

Mixed news from the United Steelworkers Union this morning.

It says U.S. steel plans to recall another 800 workers in Hamilton next week.

They will join the other 360 workers who are already back at the plant.

But, the union also says it's received confirmation the company is shutting down its coke ovens at Lake Erie works in Nanticoke.

It means nearly 100 workers are expected to be cut by the end of July.

That's in addition to the 800 Nanticoke employees already on layoff.
