Getaway driver identified - Police looking for Hamilton man in connection with east Mountain bank robbery

Police are looking for a Hamilton man they believe was involved in an east Mountain bank robbery last month.

The department's BEAR (break, enter, auto theft and robbery) unit has identified Dennis Edwards, 23, as the driver in the May 22 Scotibank heist.

He is described as white, about 5'9" and 140 pounds with red hair, blue eyes and a medium build.

Police say he is facing four robbery charges and is also wanted for breach of probation.
The Scotiabank at Upper Gage and Fennell East was robbed mid-afternoon May 22. A Dunnville woman was arrested three days later and charged with several robber-related offences.
