2 hurt, 5 charged, after vicious attack in Burlington

Two men are in hospital after a vicious attack in Burlington.

It happened at 9 o'clock last night at a plaza at Headon Road and Upper Middle Road.

Police say three Burlington men were confronted by a group of 10 to 12 men who had baseball bats, knives and homemade weapons.

One of the victims ran away, but the other two were stabbed, slashed an beaten before the suspects fled in two vehicles.

Police stopped one of the vehicles and arrested four 18-year old men and a 15-year old boy.

They're all from Brampton and are charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon.

The victims, aged 21 and 23, are expected to recover.
