The GWR in Ontario ran from 1853–1882 when is was purchased by the Grand Trunk Railway. It predates Hamilton's more notable line, The TH&B (Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo) by some time,- though it had a longer run (1892–1987 when it was merged with Canadian Pacific Railway). The TH&B's Jerseyville station is now at the Westfield Heritage Village (http://www.westfieldheritage.ca/) near Rockton, ON, along with preserved TH&B steam locomotive #103.
