New cycling plan gets backing of council
They're not willing to put up any cash yet, but Hamilton councillors have backed a new cycling master plan for the city.
The plan would quadruple the city's designated bike lanes to 566 kilometres over the next 20 years.
It would cost about 2.5-million dollars a year to implement.
Council has referred the funding commitments to the budget process.
