Caledonia Peacekeepers unveil their plans
They say they wouldn't be a militia, instead they'd be called the "Caledonia Peacekeepers."
A group aimed at protecting private property from trespassers who'd use reasonable force if necessary.
About 30 residents including Doug Fleming and Gary McHale met in Cayuga last night to discuss their plans.
They say they want their group to put pressure on provincial police to enforce problems in the area occupied by aboriginal protesters.
Fleming says the group would respond to owners requests to patrol their property and ask any trespassers to move.
He claims group members would exercise their rights to make citizen arrests.
At the same time as the meeting, about 70 vocal protesters arrived on buses from Toronto and Kitchener to rally against the group's plans.
