A rolling road rage argument ended in collision damage to two cars and a dangerous driving charge for a Caledonia motorist.
Hamilton police say the incident began at the top of the Claremont Access around noon Wednesday when one driver is alleged to have cut the other off. The two cars then headed south on Upper James Street with the two male drivers shaking their fists at each other, blowing their horns and yelling.
At the stop light at Fennell Avenue both men got out of their cars and stood in the street to holler at each other. Then they got back in their cars and carried on.
When the pair came to McElroy Road, south of Mountain Plaza, the younger man driving in the curb lane threw an empty water bottle at the other vehicle. The 55-year-old Caledonia man followed the younger man and both cars collided. He has been charged with dangerous driving and was released on a promise to appear.
