Explosions rock east mountain

A series of explosions rocked the east mountain Friday night.

Emergency crews were called to a blaze at Team Hazco, an environmental services company, in the area of Upper Ottawa and Rymal Road around 8 pm.

At one point, police told CHML News, they told people to get off the street in case the smoke was toxic.

Traffic in the area of Upper Ottawa and Rymal was diverted.

There is a report that the fire marshall has been called in to investigate.
