GLANBROOK - Hamilton police hauled in more than $1.4 million in marijuana, firearms and 4,000 rounds of ammunition during raids on two Glanbrook homes Tuesday.
Vice and drug officers, along with the tactical unit, searched a home on Kirk Road where they found more than $750,000 worth of pot growing in several outbuildings, including greenhouses, small barns and a shed.
Police arrested a 59-year-old man, his 28-year-old son and 23-year-old daughter. A short time later, police searched a property on Trimble Road connected to the family and found $680,000 worth of pot in an outbuilding along with three firearms, pellet guns and more than 4,000 rounds of ammo.
Also seized were $2,400 worth of stolen truck tires and a $40,000 stolen farm tractor.
