Twice In One Day -- Firefighters Batle Blaze In Vacant Home

For the second time in the same day, Hamilton firefighters have battled flames in a vacant home.

The latest blaze involves a two-and-a-half storey "walk up" on Bay Street North, between Cannon and Mulberry.

That fire broke out at about 1 o'clockon Tuesdayafternoon in a first-floor bathroom, causing about 75 thousand dollars in damage.

It follows a suspicious blaze in the city's north end at about 3 o'clockTuesday morning.
