There is some discouraging news out of the economic summit.
A spokesperson with the Conference Board of Canada, predicts it will several more weeks, and possibly months, before shovels are in the ground as part of the federal-provincial infrastructure program.
Federal Liberal House Leader Ralph Goodale blames government red tape for the delay. He adds that the result is that the program is failing the stimulate the economy as it was designed to do during the current recession.
