"A lot of good things have happened" within Hamilton's economy over the past year.
That's the insistence of one of the organizers of the second annual Hamilton Economic Summit, which takes place on Wednesday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center.
Len Falco adds that the summit will feature a series of vignettes, showcasing examples where the city has "gained ground".
Those vignettes will focus on arts and heritage, environmental restoration, learning and innovation, advanced manufacturing and integrated-intermodal transportation.
Falco insists that it's not about ignoring Hamilton's problems, including rising unemployment. Instead, he says it's about taking the time to celebrate "successes".
