The Stoney Creek Warriors didn’t get to hoist the Sutherland Cup this year but they may have accomplished something even more important."We brought a team together and we build an organization and we built a brand,” said Warriors coach Ric Nattress on Saturday after the Brantford Golden Eagles beat Stoney Creek 3-2 to win the best-of-seven provincial Junior B hockey championship series 4-1.“I told the guys that it?s very hard to see through the darkness right now but we won 51 hockey games this year. We beat out some teams that were supposedly better than us. We played in and won a round-robin series against teams that were supposedly better than us, and finally we met a team that is better than us.”
