Steve Smith's second perfect game tied the Hamilton record of 23 perfect games in a season, and Art Oliver's ninth career perfect game set a new record at 24. Smith recorded the first 300 of the season at Hamilton Bowl by starting with the 300, followed by 227, 257 and 236 for a 1020 set. Oliver, competing as a spare at Prime Time Bowling, tacked on his 300 after 217 and 181 for a 698 triple. Coming close to perfection were Corey Davies with 298 at Skyway and Richard Parker with 296 at Prime Time.
