A young woman who allegedly walked into the middle of a Hamilton bank, pulled out a gun and yelled, “This is a robbery,” has been caught by Hamilton police’s heist buster squad.According to media officer Sergeant Terri-Lynn Collings, four tellers in a Scotiabank on Upper Gage Avenue were robbed on May 22 by a woman who pointed a firearm at them. She fled into a waiting car after the tellers gave her some cash.The Break Enter Auto Theft and Robbery (BEAR) unit swooped down on a 23-year-old Dunnville woman Friday in central Hamilton and charged her with four counts of robbery, disguised with intent, use imitation firearm and fail to comply with a recognizance.
