Burlington will play host to the National Tenpin Bowling Championships beginning tomorrow (Friday).
One hundred and seventy seven of Canada’s best bowlers — 125 men and 52 women — will vie for the two national titles as well as a place on Canada’s men’s, women’s and youth teams.
The opening ceremonies will take place tonight at Prime Time Bowl, where Hamilton’s Alan Tone will be inducted into the Canadian Ten-Pin Federation Hall of Fame. Competition begins Friday at both Prime Time Bowl (men) and Burlington Bowl (women). They will switch venues for Saturday’s play.
