Lamilton's famed Lancaster bomber is set to fly again today.
The bomber will take to the sky this afternoon with new propellers bought through a month-long fundraising campaign this spring. There were fears the plane, the prime attraction at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, would be grounded forever because the museum could not afford to replace corroded propellers found during a routine maintenance check in March. But when the museum's call went out for help, donors raised $100,000 to help acquire replacements from Nova Scotia and Florida.
