Teen charged after boy stabbed in park

A 15-year-old Hamilton boy was stabbed during an altercation in a west Hamilton park.

The teen was in Alexander Park at Whitney Avenue and Rifle Range Road with his friends when he got into a fight with another teenager, said Hamilton police spokesperson Catherine Martin. The incident occurred at about noon yesterday.

"There was an altercation with a 16-year-old during which he used an edged weapon with which to hit the victim," Martin said.
