The Hamilton Bulldogs are making plans to play at Copps Coliseum this coming season.Michael Andlauer, the owner of the American Hockey League club, says he doesn't think there's any chance, logistically, that the Phoenix Coyotes or any other NHL club can move into that building in that short a period of time.
Long term, however, is another matter and Andlauer is drawing up a contingency plan to leave. The Bulldogs have been HECFI's major tenant at Copps Coliseum for 13 seasons. They're about to enter the final year of a five-year lease. That lease, however, gives HECFI the right to turf them out if an NHL team moves permanently to Hamilton.
