Hamilton man injured in serious motorcycle crash 

A 37-year-old Hamilton man is in serious condition at Hamilton General following a motorcycle crash in Oakville that closed the South Service Road for four hours. 

Halton Police say the man lost control of his Ducati motorcycle on a curve Friday afternoon.   The bike and rider slid along the road for a considerable distance before slamming into a cement curb and becoming airborne.

The rider suffered serious life-threatening injuries as a result.
