Groups battle with bottles, rocks, knives

A running battle between two groups in north-central Hamilton left three people with gashed heads and possible stab wounds.

Police say it started in Memorial Park at Beach Road and Depew Street around 10 p.m. Thursday. A man was hit over the head with a rock and an empty liquor bottle. The victim gathered up several buddies and chased his attackers, only to come out on the losing end a second time.
