The Remedy Night Club was jumping the night fire inspectors, police and Alcohol and Gaming Commission officers stopped by.It was also overcrowded, with more than twice as many people as allowed inside, and fire officials ordered an evacuation.That has cost owner Craig Sanderson $6,500.Sanderson pleaded guilty in provincial offences court April 27 on behalf of himself and his two numbered companies to a charge of exceeding the permissible occupant load for the King Street East club.The Remedy also had its liquor licence suspended by the AGCO for a total of 92 days with conditions attached to its reinstatement and also had its restaurant/public hall licence revoked by the city. The club is no longer in operation.
