Drunk driver slams into house

NIAGARA FALLS – A homeowner and a suspected drunk driver escaped injury early today when a van  slammed into a house.

Police said the home at the intersection of Montrose Road and Charnwood Avenue was hit pretty hard – damage estimated at $60,000.
