Another EI jump in Hamilton

Hamilton had Ontario's third-highest jump in the number of EI recipients in February.

The number of Hamiltonians collecting Employment Insurance jumped more than 83% in February, compared to February 2008.

Statistics Canada says more than 13-thousand local people collected EI in February.

The only cities recording higher increases were Windsor at nearly 104%, and Kitchener at 96%.
