Man found dead in field was shooting suspect

The body of a young man found murdered in a farmer's field outside town has been identified as a man Peel police were seeking in the shooting of a Mississauga man last November.

Ontario Provincial Police said yesterday the victim is Charles Agbajoh, 20, of Milton.

Peel police issued an arrest warrant for Agbajoh Nov. 22 in connection with a Nov. 2 shooting of a 31-year-old man in the stairwell of a Mississauga apartment building. Agbajoh faced charges of robbery, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
