Binbrook fire causes $700,000 in damage

BINBROOK – An early morning blaze has destroyed a Binbrook home, causing an estimated $700,000 in damage.

Fire crews were called to the home on Highway 56, between Rymal Road East and Golf Club Road, around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, firefighters found a structure at the back of the home fully engulfed, with the fire spreading to the second floor roof of the house.

A family of four and their female basement tenant were all out of the two-storey home when crews arrived.
