Work Will Soon Begin To Improve 403 Access In Aldershot

Aldershot's so-called "number one priority" is finally being addressed.

Burlington Councillor Rick Craven has announced that the city is going to tender on a comprehensive Highway 403-Waterdown Road interchange.

The province and city are splitting the seven million dollar cost of the project which should start this summer and will take about 16 months to complete.

It will add an off-ramp from the westbound 403 to Waterdown Road, as well as an eastbound on-ramp at the Aldershot GO station.

Great. More traffic due to construction on the highway. Just great...
