Body found in Hagersville field being treated as homicide

HAGERSVILLE — Ontario Provincial Police are dealing with a murder case, likely the first in Haldimand in more than a decade.

An autopsy done on a man’s body found in a field on Sunday has determined he did not die of natural causes.

Constable Paula Wright said today investigators are not releasing the cause of death at this time.
