Hamilton violent crime rising

A new national crime-measuring tool shows that violent crime in Hamilton has been rising since 1998.

Unlike general crime rates, Statistics Canada's new Crime Severity Index reflects the relative seriousness of individual offences and tracks changes in crime severity.
