Drunk driver hits Stoney Creek train

STONEY CREEK – A 57-year-old Stoney Creek man who plowed into a train Sunday night is a lucky man.

Police say the train westbound CN freight train was travelling slowly when the man’s car crashed through a flashing  barrier at the Green Road crossing at 11:10 p.m. and bounced off  the side of one of the cars.
