Samaritans foil jewelry store heist

NIAGARA FALLS  – An American tourist and a passing security guard foiled a robbery in a high-end jewelry store after a woman sprayed two clerks in the face with a noxious substance.

Niagara police said the two Good Samaritans got involved as the bandit fought with  the employees outside a  Falls Avenue store Wednesday night.
